Dinner on New Year's Eve

Since we're staying in the campus during the Chinese New Year, we planned to go have a nice luxurious dinner outside - in Tiara Hotel! Thanks to Cai Yi and Yu Jin who organized it ♥

We started to prepare - make up and hairdo - at around 4pm, and started to camwhore!

Seeing that we only have one car, Yu Jin had to make 2 trips to send all of us to the restaurant. First trip was a noisy trip while the second one was freaking quiet till you can describe it as a pin-drop silence. Know why? Coz Cai Yi took the first trip while I took the second trip :p Kidding lah... Yu Jin somemore asked whether we're having a 5-minutes' silent anot. CALL ME POKER FACE PRINCESS (coz poker face queen goes to Kristen Stewart lol) Ahdi suspected I injected botox somemore!!! Luckily there's something I can do to eliminate myself from that doubt... I can move my brows nimbly, like this ! Hahaha...

Other than poker face princess I guess I can call myself careless princess. Know why? Coz I keep hurting myself in a way that even myself also don't know! This time I scratched my leg:-

After Cai Yi left, ahdi and me made a call back home. My family reached popo's house already yesternight! Then I let mami switch the phone to loudspeaker so everyone can speak to me ^_^ My uncles thought I'm a 3-year-old kid and asked me to guess who is who ==" Mami somemore kept giving me hints lol. And they have another baby joining the big family as well! Aww ♥

Sem Ended!!!

Today we've finish our last paper!!! WEE~! First thing we do is to go to RESTOCK... Coz Cai Yi, ahdi and I are gonna stay here till we graduate! Air fare is freaking expensive weyh. Tsk tsk. Plus it's only a 5-day holiday, 没有瘾 lah... Better stay in the hostel and do FYP. (shiat...) Our first sem of final year jiu ended like this dy. O_o

My roommie go back liao eh! Can't believe I took over the room till she came back the next sem woohoo! (Trying to sleep without clothes :p)

Don't say we're not filial coz we didn't go back during CNY okie!!! It's just an excuse for people to have a reunion. If you have the heart, you shall go home whenever you can, not using CNY as an excuse. Just saying lah.

Today I'm the biggest spender! Coz I ran out of dried food. Left cocopie in my cupboard only leh... Bought somemore cheese sausages to eat with my noodles hoho ♥ But I forgot the free mug that came along with the cereal.  Nevermind, I wanted a bowl actually, not a mug.

After the restock session, we went to have satay!!! ♥ It's been quite some time already since we ate satay... Too busy gobbling it till no hands to snap photos hahaha... :p

Tomorrow I'm gonna "hibernate" for one whole day! Specially reserved for only sleep and eat ngek. And the day after this I'm gonna play games for one whole day. Then the next day I'm gonna watch all movies/drama!

Medical Coupons 17-Jan-2012

One thing I'm very sien is that the school policy regarding our medicine coupons keep changing. The last time I checked, we can use the coupons throughout our years studying in the campus, each semester with 2 RM35 medical coupons. I only have 1 coupon for each semester during my first year, but it's an improvement.

We heard it'll be expired on 21st this month so we have to redeem it with some supplements. Didn't managed to redeem it on Saturday coz the clinic was out of the forms, while the other clinic is off on Saturday. So today we purposely go to redeem the supplements.

Who knows, the nurse in the reception told us, they can only accept 1 coupon since it's already near the expiry date, and they need to take out RM10 as their consultation fees, which made the value of the coupon to RM25! :( Still, I think we fully made use of that consultation fees by asking them the price of the supplements so we can decide which one to redeem.

I redeemed a bottle of 100-tablets-calcium, coz 3 years ago when I checked my bone density, I'm near to the red zone of osteoporosis, even mami had better bone density than I do back then. Sad that bottle of calcium is enough for one month only.

I bought a box of detox tea last Saturday, which I tried one yesterday morning. Didn't feel anything in my bowel though. Ahdi and Cai Yi made fun that I'm too healthy that I don't have any toxic in my body, which is quite alarming coz my body functions might have malfunction :S

Planned to post my book voucher back home too, but apparently everyone wanted to settle their bills before CNY, there's a long queue in front of the post office. Better luck next time.

Oh btw I had my hair trimmed by Cai Yi, coz we couldn't decide which hair saloon to cut our hair. Her skill is not bad, just that I should use "cut" instead of "trim" coz my hair is shorter But nevermind la not a big deal also, at least my hair look nicer (I hope so, coz so far no one notice it yet :p)

New Year Shopping on 14-Jan-2012!!!

SORRY!!!!! I've been extremely lazy to do anything especially blogging. Maybe because I'm not so passionate in writing the fun, although I think it's a need so I can recollect the memories in the future, which I might forget. *sweeps the web cob*
Or maybe purely because I'm too easily distracted by other things instead of write a blog in one shot.

So after a long run of exam, we planned to go hang out in town to get New Year stuffs since we're going to stay here (damn the air fare is wayyyyy too expensive).

We managed to check out a few stores only, but I got myself a pair of new shoes!!! Coz the vendor online told me the shoes I wanted is out of stock already :( Anyway it's still consider lucky for me coz I couldn't fit in some shoes in my size 38! Even 39 is still a bit small for me. FYI the shoes I bought is still my size lah...

NAIS ANOT?!?! I'm so freaking in love with this pair of shoes!!! But beige or grey don't look good on me so I can only take this... It's still gorgeous!!! Too bad it's the only item I got. Can't see any nice tops or pants/skirts. I've got loads of cosmetic lenses anyway

There's a few more shoes I like but doesn't look nice on me... 

We finally got into Financial Park and window shopped - and there we saw SALES on PILLOWS! I've always wanted a pillow (I still couldn't understand why I just got myself a small cushion to be slept on as a pillow when I was a newbie here...)

I nao haz a nais and comfy bed to sleep in awww ♥ ♥ ♥ Bought 2 coz I chose this instead of the one with anti dust mites and bed bugs which costs RM32 plus ahdi said her pillow lasted one sem only. Rather spend for quantity than quality already seeing that I only have one sem left hehe :p

Of course we bought other miscellaneous things like CNY snacks (which has already finish by now) and new nail polish and pencil eye liner ♥ Only we can't change the supplement with our medical coupons coz the clinic is out of forms for us to fill.

It's A New Year!

Feel like I have to post something for a good start. Okie so let's start with my new year resolution (so old-fashioned haha).

First and foremost - I want to keep fit! I've been thinking of this for quite some time (and also mentioned for quite a number of times), just that I don't have the determination in doing more exercises and controlling what I eat om nom nom.

Mock Interview in 19th Dec 2011

Okie maybe you don't see any difference coz the photography skills of the cameraman is so good she knew how to take the photo from the right angle so you won't see how fat I am or maybe because of the outfit that shows my shape nicely or whatever lah! It's my body and I somehow know I've grow fatter throughout the years. Tummy is more and more obvious now wtheck.

Sometimes I will think that #meanwhile-in-the-parallel-universe (meme example), the cannibals will eat me like we eat chickens and they surely will be very happy to hold me captive coz my thighs have a lot of flesh and if I'm fried like a fried chicken I'm surely will taste delicious coz the thick layer of fats on my body will be crisply fried with juicy flesh.

Secondly I hope I can have more sleep/stay away from my lappie as long as I can so I can be more radiant. I was said to be very pale in these recent years, starting from Form 5. I was tying my shoe lace when a teacher asked me whether I'm alright or not (@@) she thought I was having my menses coz I looked so pale and coincidentally I bent down (to tie my shoe lace lah). The second time was when I worked for my first job after STPM. I was a part-timer I didn't have the company key so I have to ring the office bell for my colleague Ieki who always came earlier than me to open the door for me. She told me I looked very pale and horrifying when she open the door for me coz I have no expression and standing under gloom light just like a death messenger. It got worse after I entered university, that friends would ask me am I sick or not feeling well? Coz I looked pale. Oh and also droopy eyes.

Lol didn't notice I did the same pose for 2 years ahaha... Okie you may also compare with the 2008 one shown above. Pale right? I also don't know why, till I've given up on myself before study week after the assignments are almost all submitted. I did nothing but eat and sleep for the whole day. Few days after that, Cai Yi and ahdi said I had the most radiant look for all the time they've seen me. That means, it's either the sleeps that do me good or because I stayed away from my lappie. Coz I can't online when I sleep isn't it.

Cai Yi suggested that I can do so once a week to neutralize my look since we won't be able to have extra time for me to just eat and sleep because of our FYP fml.

Next I hope I will be more discipline and not procrastinate anymore (seriously, hopefully). It's a new year but our sem is not finish yet and we're having our final exam on the first month of the year! This afternoon ahdi analyzed to me that I should have get good grades this sem if I study hard enough, although I screwed my midterms and my carry marks are low, coz we guess most of us screwed it up too so the grading system might follow the skewness of the overall stats. So if I study hard enough, I might be able to score A even though I only have around 60%. And I have to constantly work on my FYP too.

Final year is such a bitch.

Next again I want to accompany my beloved family more after I graduate (it's the nearest time till I go home). I just had a phone conversation with my family this evening. Mami told me her cousin from Australia said she just noticed mami is getting old after she saw the photos my sis posted in Facebook taken in Bangkok. Plus I missed the time I went to pasar with mami when Cai Yi, ahdi and I went to pasar last Friday.

I've always keep in touch with erjie through Facebook chat and occasionally on msn. And there goes the awkward moment when we talked through the phone there's a long pause coz we've already chat almost everything in Facebook chat and msn wtheck ==".

Last of all I hope I can be smarter/wiser. Okie here goes the story for why I'm wishing on this.

Last Friday night I went to ahdi's house to uh... Forgotten why. So I was doing my own thing until she told me out of a sudden about this website peteranswers.com. She said it's kinda creepy coz the "person" who answered her questions knows it all.

At first I thought it's just some programming with standard answers and the answers coincidentally fitted the questions ahdi asked so I thought it's interesting, but when she started to get the exact answers for her questions it creeped me out.

Q: Who's in the same room with me?

A: Syn wei.

Q: Wat's my financial status?

A: Broke.

Q: Who's my fren's roommate?

A: Cheng.

So damn creepy weyh! Somemore after a few more questions got answered correctly ahdi looked at me and showed me the victory-face (coz she trolled me successfully) and because of that stupid face I thought she's possessed wtf!!! Somemore she kept telling me it's her who typed the answer ><" She said I looked like I wanted to run for my life but I'm too scared to do so and I cried because I scared till I shit bricks!

Okie so the truth is the site is programmed with some kind of algorithms so that the system will capture the keystrokes for the answer when the so-called petition is keyed in.

Wtheck I'm an IT student weyh! Kena pranked gao gao and got my feet weak and unable to run for my life and cried because I thought my friend was possessed wtf. Totally up to my new nickname dumbass! No wonder my parents have been worrying for me and scared I'll be cheated by anyone. ==" Hopefully I'm smarter/wiser from this onwards.

Ahh there goes my new year resolution.

Oh on the side note here's a small one that I should include in my resolution list: Hopefully my table will be tidier as I haven't have time to tidy it up since we're busy submitting our assignments and preparing for finals now.

Last Day of 2011! Happy New Year!

Geez I've been procrastinating everything not only my studies but also blogging!

Okay now I'm gonna post my updates one by one.

1. FYP Report (7th Dec 2011, Wednesday)
My laptop just changed its battery, so I'm not sure what's really the problem... My interface is a bit... Out of control. We spent the whole night didn't sleep to finish up the report! I must say, after our exam later we'll need to continue our FYP. Otherwise I doubt we have the time to even complete it.

It's around 100 pages each! Final year is not easy eh.

2. Assignments (13th Dec 2011, Tuesday)
Here I specifically refer to data structure and web programming. Not that I'm boasting myself, but I have to say I'm not suppose to submit the assignments with such standards. I should have done better. :( Spent one damn sleepless night each, and couldn't finish the assignments with better standards wtf. I'm so damn disappointed with myself.

3. FYP Presentation (15th Dec 2011, Thursday)
It's our judgement day! After 3 months of hardwork, it's time for us to present to the examiners. Our work is so complicated that the examiners once thought it's a 3-people-project @@ Anyway. The examiners are so going to 放长双眼 (not really in a positive way) to see how are we gonna do it FOL.

4. Mock Interview (19th Dec 2011, Monday)
I wonder business school have this training or not. The lecturer that interviewed me were Dean, the head of E-Commerce and another don't-know-who ahaha The questions they asked were kinda... Weird. Especially from the dean lol. At the end of the interview, they gave me some comments. They said I'm overall okie but they won't hire me coz I'm too demanding. @@?!

I recalled what I answered in the salary section... They asked, will I accept the offer if they're only able to give RM2k? I said I hope I'll have other expenses like toll and petrol covered coz I'm living quite far from the company. Whoa. Didn't know this is "demanding". Anyway hopefully this section won't ruin my overall marks lah :S

If you've followed my blog, I'm sure you'll realize that I'm wearing the same shirt for all the important presentations I have... This is the only decent shirt that I have!

(By decent I mean with proper collar and not semi-transparent like the grey top I have)

5. Happy Winter Solstice! (22nd Dec 2011, Thursday)
Cai Yi will never miss any of the festival here. So we all bought the ingredients to make tangyuan/dumplings!

See, we'll never run out of good food if we have Cai Yi here. Hehehe.

6. Fratini's Steakhouse! (23rd Dec 2011, Friday)
It's a new steakhouse opened recently near Victoria's Hotel. We found it when we looked for a company for case study for an assignment. The name of the restaurant had already more or less revealed the price of the food. But still, we went there to have a try! (Super sorry to have to take the photos from Cai Yi coz my dumb phone has no flash and the photos taken were all damn dark)

I really don't know what happened to my eyes on that day (I'm still wondering is the flash the reason) my eyes were so freaking small wtf

This one I'm forcing my eyes to open bigger. Lots of light bubble appeared in front of my eyes after the whole photography session @@

7. Surprise!
We actually planned to give Cai Yi a bag she really liked as a birthday present. Ahdi asked the seller to tell Cai Yi that the bag is out of stock! (So sorry to the seller coz Cai Yi was going to buy some clothes along with the bag) Who knows, there're so many obstacles we just got it for her. Her birthday and Christmas are already over so we can only give it as New Year present. Didn't get to take photos so I can only grab from her blog again ^^"

8. Happy New Year! (31st Dec 2011 - 1st Jan 2012)
Like I said, one of the benefits of staying with Cai Yi is that we will have good food for almost all the festival we celebrate. This time New Year! ^_^ Had Bak Kut Teh for our dinner with movies and junk food #foreveralone Well, at least we have each other :) Planned to watch 3 Idiots at first but guess we had our dinner too early so we felt boring. Played a few poker games somemore hehe :p

So I wish everyone a Happy New Year and all of us will live happily ever after! (Coz living happily ever after means having a happy ending - which also means whatever we do will be smooth hehe)

Well one of my new year resolution should be tidy up my table. It's been a mess since we started to busy with our FYP and assignments ^^"

Astrological Phenomena

Last Saturday night, we saw lunar eclipse at around 9pm. We learnt it in Science class about these astrological phenomena, but that was the first time ever we saw it!

Yesternight, we heard somemore news about meteor rain. Gemini meteor rain! Too bad I had to finish up my works, otherwise I would very like to watch it (well the main reason to watch it is to make a lot of wishes la of course! xD) BUT then only we realize that it only appeared at the north of the earth. Friends who went to view it just managed to feel the drizzle instead of meteor rain haha.

p.s. It reminds me of a song 'Airplanes': Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now - Good grades in all my subjects!!!
