Just a Thought

Some one asked me for a favor to guide in developing a web site. She's in business school and is taking up E-Commerce as a minor subject.

Not trying to be arrogant or rude lar but this is what I think:

I'm not very patience so I kinda get mad inside me when she doesn't understand the terms I said (ie keep asking "what software is that" when I mentioned a programming language) wtf. Luckily she said she'll find out by herself and won't bug me to teach her from A to Z.

But being such #sociallyawkwardpenguin.jpg that I am, I don't feel comfortable having small chats with her... Screw social conventions, you can leave after you ask for my help, thankkiu very much.

p.s. And , how come my friends do not know what emoticon is this （╯°益°）╯︵┻━┻ ???

Talked to Jann the other day about this. And then we reached the topic of giving favors to friends and realized that the saying "help once and people will remember you" has changed from "remembering you as a sign of gratitude" to "remembering you the next time they face problems" wtheck. I've realized this after the period when I was kinda #foreveralone.jpg and people start popping out to ask for my favors when they're in troubles,  and then disappear again when their problems were solved. I do my very best not to ask for people's favor if I could manage it myself. Close friends are exceptional la of course.

It's a busy month! Sometimes looks can be deceiving, ya know. Usually it's calm before the storm. Wish us all the best. I'm so down sometimes I wish that tsunami will strike and sweep us all and that's the end of the misery (coz suicide is not a considerable option). Let the strong ones survive.

Friday Night

Sing K session with ahdi. Freaking down and helpless, doing ONE assignment for 4 days and still not finish yet. Gotta do something to refresh our mind.

Celebrating My Birthday in Advance! 8/4/2012 ♥

Since people start working / doing stuffs / travelling / etc on Monday, my birthday celebration had moved forward to this wonderful night.

This year they made it as high-profile as possible - meaning that NO surprise! So I got to choose my own cake and dressed up (or down?)!

First time ever I wore a bareback dress! Freaking insecure. @@ I shall cut the crap and let the photos do the talking.

Update:

New Printer

Turned out my printer's gear is loosen and it cannot be used anymore. The technician told me if I were to change the gear, might as well just buy a new one coz it's expensive.

T_T

Stupid printer wasted my time keep googling for ways to reset the counter. Although the shop has this promotion of trading in an old printer, be it still functional or not, they'll sell a new printer with cheaper price. Too bad it's not Canon so I bought a new one instead.

Problem solved.

Shopping Day~!

Time to relax a bit. I haven't been shopping for like, AGES... Okie you know what I mean. It's to go to the town, but not buying daily groceries. REAL shopping, as in buy new clothes and new shoes. Geez I'm such a shopaholic!

And again, I'm the biggest spender - 2 new tops (same design, different color... They're nice!!!) and 2 new shoes.

Finally~ Flat shoes! My stupid feet structure making it difficult to look for a pair of nice flat shoes.

The reason I got it is because Cai Yi couldn't stand my extremely broken purse so she decided to give my present earlier

We chatted about our past, when we're poor and couldn't afford to buy any toys, mami used to tore the unused pages from our old exercise books and made draft papers, and we drew all sorts of things on it. My sis said she was envious of me because I can draw. We even drew our own comics!

But now, I no longer draw. Instead, my sis got into designing field and doodle quite a lot!

While waiting Lin to come my house to do assignment, I doodle an owl to match with her cat 夜猫子 :)

Difference is, everyone likes her doodles, but no one notices mine.

APN 2012

Jonker's Night on Thursday night, but it wasn't good enough. The starting time is stated in the coupon at 6.30pm, but we still couldn't buy what we want at 8pm. And the food was freakin' expensive. Know what's more overly? When we asked how much was the dimsum, they said RM3, and when we went back to buy, they said it's RM4! Wtheck 坐地起价?! Didn't stay till the end coz we're so angry with the whole management.

Exhibition was on 2nd. We went, but it looked like so empty, nothing much to see.

I went to this Malam Kemuncak because I want to see how good they've done after the event we did last year. Overall it's grand lah.

First performance was the Chinese instrumental orchestra by secondary school kids. I MISSED THE MOMENT I WAS IN SCHOOL BAND IN PRIMARY SCHOOL! I played trumpet back then ^_^ When I have kids in future, I'm so gonna send them to learn Chinese instrument. Especially daughters. I love guzheng!

But the performances afterwards were kinda... boring. I slipped out to look for ahma.

See, one bad thing about having such event outside of a school is that we have to wait for the school bus to fetch us back. We've been waiting for like almost an hour and we're so tired when we reached home. Luckily today has no class so we can rest longer.

And damn I missed the jogging time coz I overslept x_x
