Internship

Last month I planned to look for an internship already. Why I called it internship instead of holiday job is because of my low qualification and knowledge in programming skills, and the main purpose of me working in IT field is to gain more knowledge. The only difference is the company doesn't need to prepare report for academic purpose. So I started to look for related jobs on jobs searching engines hoping that some company will call me for an interview (One of my friend is hired as an intern already before even the final exam is started!). My dad said his friend can take me, but his company is in Damansara, quite a distance. Well, a company did called, and today is the meet up. Yesterday I went to the company to check on the route to prepare for today's meet up, and of course to confirm the location of the company. Daddy said the company is nearer compared to his friend's company, but when we visit the place, WHOA - far also! @@ It looks like a new area as most of the buildings are still under construction. And looked 'high-class' too - Everything there cost a lot. (My lunch there isn't going to be cheap huh...) The person in charge misunderstood me that he thought I'm graduating soon, so he told me they'll take me back after I graduate (@@) The company is expanding and they actually are looking for fresh graduates to be part of their team instead of part-timers like me... Anyway since they're expanding they don't mind to take another intern so I'm in! Despite the danger of going to work an hour earlier and left work an hour later considering the ongoing construction, I'm still taking the job because I can learn what I want, and I will make good relationship with the company so when I'm returning for the real industrial training, they'll write my report nice. =p
