Industrial Training Talk

2 nights ago we had a soft-skills talk for our industrial training. It was an interesting talk as it wasn't as boring as other talks are :p I like the speaker Pn Haslinda, she's humorous! :)

But yesterday was the real show. We had to wear formal as if we're going for real interview and we're asked to bring a handbag for that! That night, everyone were busy borrowing handbags from friends as they don't have a decent one for 'interview' purpose.

It was the 'Resume and Application Letter Writing' session during the day. And I managed to grab the speaker's attention with this attire!

Since she said she couldn't wear it nice and I'm the one who wore it all this time so the shirt is now MINE hohoho~

However, the resume and application writing in the morning session was um... A bit boring. Cai Yi went out to get some fresh air in the midst of the talk while ahdi kept yawning. Maybe it wasn't the talk, it's because we were too tired coz we didn't get enough sleep for one whole week already.

At the end of the talk, we had to show her our resume in order for her to correct our mistakes, and guess what? She said mine was great and asked for a softcopy so she can show it to everyone as an example! :D But of course I didn't give lah coz 1. I didn't bring a softcopy for her to show everyone 2. Resume is very personal and I don't want her to show around to everyone.

The night session was more tensed, as we're instructed to wear the best attire for the 'Grooming' talk. The speaker will criticize our attire and correct the way we walk when we're going for interview. I went to Cai Yi's house to make up as my house's mirror was broken and is yet to be replaced :(

We went to the hall earlier than time scheduled (also because the speaker kept stressing on the importance of punctuality). Of course, no one is there, so we went camwhoring~

I found that my side view is better than my front view leh.

Okie. Enough for the playful photos, the talk had started. As everyone had expected, I'm asked to be one of the model to stand on the stage (coz I've grabbed the speaker's attention at the very beginning) :S

The only imperfection was my heels had open tip for my toes, which they said was improper for interview. And also have to wear stockings. Maybe they saw my legs with scratches and bruises so they want me to cover it with stockings ahaha.

Anyway. Bad demo. They said bag shouldn't be on the laps, but on the right of the chairs instead. And I just tied my tongue when I answer the interview question. I've been through so many interviews and yet I screwed this!!! fml

But honestly! This 'interview' was made in front of so many people, that's why I'm scared! If I'm put into a closed room with the interviewer only, I won't be as bad as this.

Nevermind. This is just a fake interview. I've gone through a lot already, I just have to remember to apply the correct skills the next time I go for it.
