Osaka Getaway Day 1: Osaka - Namba 难波 29/3/2014

话说 I was still working on 28/3 coz it's Friday. Had to rush home to finish packing my stuffs (paiseh now I realized I really like to do last minute packing de ) and wait Yin to fetch me to her house coz her uncle will send us to the airport.

Btw 丑话说在前头. I realize I don't really like to take pictures. Most of the pictures taken were requested/taken by Yin ahaha. And the first day I didn't put makeup so I looked terrible ahaha please bear with me

And then 话说 it's also Yin's first time travelling to other country so far away. In MAS plane somemore.

Train ticket to Namba Station.

You know, one thing good about Japan's train system is that we can throw in the smallest amount of money to get the tickets first, then only pay for the difference when we arrive at the desired station. Saves a lot of time!

Osaka Getaway 29/3/2014-7/4/2014 - Plans

Paiseh ha I dragged until now only update ahaha. I also don't know what I'm busying with But I'm updating already anyway! Read on read on.

Actually... It's kind of an impulse decision made to travel to Japan. We anyhow also had fun so dowan to repeat the reason here lah.

So lets talk about the preparation we made.

After I came back I have friends asking me for info (but their plan is to go Tokyo. Ownself 斟酌 la ha) so here are some info I gathered and summarized.

Travelling Period vs Flight tickets
It really depends on which season you like that will affect your travelling period. During our discussion, I pull the information of cheap flight tickets for them (Jann and Yin).

23/3/2014 - 1/4/2014 as of 31/8/2013

20/4/2014 - 30/4/2014 as of 31/8/2013

Yin suggested that since we're travelling overseas, we should travel longer, while Jann suggested that we go hanami. Since there's only 1 flight to Osaka which is the midnight flight, Yin suggested that we go during Friday night so that we can start exploring on Saturday. We've decided the travelling period (28/3/2014 night - 7/4/2014 morning) but since MATTA fair is around the corner, we've decided to check it out coz it might have cheaper flight tickets as compared to the one I found online (which... Turned out the price is the same but we have to pay extra RM30 each for the processing fees to the agent wtf. So we 当作 pay for selecting preferred seats haiy). This is done in September 2013.

Accommodation
Most of the time we stayed in Jann's house heh. We did stay 1 night in Kyoto though. As I've mentioned in previous entry here, I checked in various sites for the cheapest room rate. I booked a room via Booking.com coz it was quite last minute and even cheap rooms that Agoda.com had were fully booked. I booked the room (with tatami) for 7000円 1 night for 2 person, inclusive of toothbrush, towels, yukata, etc etc. (The guest house we stayed was Kobako Guest House)

What to Pack
1. Outfit
As per Jann's information, end of March is still cold. She suggested us to prepare a few heat tech (inner) clothes from Uniqlo. I bought 3 turtle neck long sleeves heat tech inner shirts but then only realized my clothes are without/short sleeves wtf ended up I only wore them in my pyjamas. Heat tech leggings are very useful though. Some days it was so cold I wore 2 layers of leggings under my jeans. In additional I brought 2 coats (for photoshooting purposes heheh #心机重). You might wanna consider bringing gloves, socks & scarves if you're afraid of cold.

Shoes are super duper freaking important I tell you. #用心良苦 Speaking from experience!!! Please get a pair (or 2) of very very very comfy shoes! I've lost my pinky toenails because of my stupid shoes wtf. It still grows but not as thick as it used to be ady

2. Devices/Gadgets
- Needless to say too much lor. Phone, camera, chargers, power banks, universal adapters.
- Jann said wifi is not everywhere in Osaka so she advised us to get a SIM card from here but we missed it wtf so we got a wifi walker in the airport instead. She said most of the time we're gonna use Google Map and LINE call so it's important to have wifi connection/data plan to get around.

Bandwidth: 1GB per 3 days

Btw I think most wifi rental shops don't accept cash so better bring a credit card la.

3. Money
I brought 70000円 (including the 3500円 for the stay in Kyoto) and I still have about 3000円 left heh. Yin brought 65000円 and she finished them. This one needless to say la. Estimate your budget properly. Of course you can use credit card la but you know lor banks' currency exchange is more expensive wan so only use credit cards when only required (ie getting a portable wifi).

Where to Travel & How to Plan It
- We totally have no idea where to travel ahaha. Jann gave us this blog link as a reference. But of course we Googled also la. This is one of our reference. Then Yin borrowed her cousin's itinerary since she said she's been to Osaka too.
- As I've mentioned before, Google Map is extremely useful for travelling in Japan.

Step 1: Now go back to the LHDN index page and click on "e-Filing" button as shown in below image (or here).

Step 2: Click on the tab "+Permohonan No. Pin" located at the left sidebar as shown in below image.

Step 3: Fill in the details you have after you're redirected to the following page. Click "Hantar" when you're done.

The number I received is in the format "SG0" followed by 11 digits (eg, SG012345678912). However, you can only fill in 11 digits in the textbox. Remove the "0" after "SG" (eg, SG12345678912).

Voila! Now you just have to wait for the next email for the PIN you've just registered!

How to Create Income Tax File 2014: Part 1 e-Daftar

It's the taxing month! I know my generation a lot of people will ask how to create a tax file (coz I asked ahaha). So being #GoodGirlGina I did a tutorial for y'all!
(ps: Thanks erjie for completing the screenshot for me heh... I wanted to do this tutorial for quite some time ady but I lazy down wtf (if you see the date I received the emails in later steps it was in February wtf) and the screenshots I took was in my company's laptop wtf #facepalm Nevertheless... You're welcome. Please share as a token of gratitude wtf.)

Pre-check: Click here to check whether your company has registered the tax number for you anot.

Check for your income tax number

If yes, then congrats! Your company is kind enough to undergo the trouble for you! You may stop here and check out my other posts already (LOL #buaypaiseh) But if no... Don't worry! Me is here to help! Just read on~

Step 1: You've gotta get your EA form from your company first. Refer below image for the form you should be acquiring.

Step 2: After you've gotten your EA form, you should register yourself for an application number. Go to the Index Page and click on the "e-Daftar" button to proceed.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the e-Daftar page. Click on the link as instructed in the following image (or here).

Step 4: You will be redirected to the page as below image to fill in your information. Click "Hantar" when you've done filling in the necessary information.

Note: If you're not sure how to fill, you may hover over the mouse icon for information. You may also check the link beside the textbox if necessary.

Step 7: You will be redirected to the feedback site. Hover over the tab "Permohonan" and click on the button "Dokumen bagi Tujuan e-Daftar" to upload the softcopy of your IC.

Note that you have 14 days to upload your IC for the registration to proceed. Do it ASAP.

To be on the safe side, change your file to .gif format.

Step 8b: Close the popup window and proceed to fill in the feedback form. No worries, the feedback form is designated to upload your document for the registration. (Refer to the top left corner of the form as indicated in the image below.) Click "Submit" when you're done.

Premiere Screening: The Second Coming 7/3/2014

Q: Do you believe in ghost? Tell us why!

I can't believe I got chosen because of my answer. Not bad! I managed to scare people with my dark circle and pale skin since young. Especially when I stare at people under yellowish light wahaha! (Though I don't look pale anymore after Phuket Trip aiseh when only can back to 白白净净 leh :3)

Somemore horror movie! When I asked for movie buddy, sanjie replied immediately hehe. Coz she's been complaining I didn't bring her to movie anymore and I said she didn't check my status coz I've been constantly ask for movie buddy what. Ngehehe!

But this movie is a bit illogical! Sorry for spoiler (I guess it's no longer a spoiler at this moment wtf) At first a lot of weird incidents happened especially Lucy acting like she's been possessed and she even hurt her father, but when Lucy's mother tried to perform the exorcism, it turned out that the ghost was Lucy's twin brother trying to pull the mother out of the situation. He died when the mother tried to abort the twins herself but Lucy was saved. Turned out, the family was dead but the mother was merely unconscious in the hospital for 15 years. Dafuq?! If the baby ghost was trying to save the mother, what's with the possession??? Somemore... If the family was supposed to be dead during the accident when they send the mother to the hospital, how come Lucy wasn't as dead as the baby ghost???

If liddat I rather watch Nightmare on the Elm Street. At least it has a demon that controls the death and everything can be illogical.

Premiere Screening - 300: Rise of An Empire 5/3/2014

Easiest contest ever!!! Just have to be the first 60 contestant to answer 3 questions then can get it ady!!!

This is the first time I won movie tickets that screens in Sunway Pyramid. COZ LAONIANG GOT CAR WAHAHA! But the happiness was too soon coz stupid car starts breaking down wtf T___T Luckily still managed to go to Sunway Pyramid and come back lar.

IMAX 3D somemore leh!!! It's the second time I watch movie in Sunway Pyramid. This time 3D somemore! Wah the hall 真心的宏伟 neh! Too bad we (ahma and me) were a bit late so our seats are a bit front, not so comfortable.

I think the movie is so-so only leh :x For some reason I think the movie was purposely filmed liddat just because they wanna make it 3D! Like scenes of them killing people were slow motion! Then blood-spill also made as if it's splashed to the screen! I sorta fall asleep at a few scenes wtf (抱头逃走) I like Eva Green anyway!

Wtf I kena trashed by erjie for being lazy to write movie review T.T OK so this one I will write a very 认真 one.

I asked a friend to go watch with me coz he said he wanna gather gather ma haha most people gather will go mamak stall yamcha but we watch movie XD

So anyway I very 认真的 gave 4 words to this movie: 莫名其妙. OK another 4 words la: 出其不意. I see Mrs Travers so yim chim I also feel WTF lol. (讲完还有心虚的感觉 wtf @@) Maybe it's the first time I see the movie got such twist that the main cast will be so stubborn... And a bit unreasonable.

So... Like that lor wtf (羞愧爬走)

It's been long since I won movie tickets. I asked ahma went with me. Le #soulmate wanna watch too so I assume it'll be good.

Both of us focus very hard to listen to the dialogues in the movie coz it has no subtitles (bad habit, I know :p) so we didn't fall asleep at the end ahaha. I don't know how to explain, I felt like it's just meh, so I searched for other movie reviews, aha and this is the closest one to what I think.
